I was commissioned by the BBC to create a piece of artwork inspired by the film Then Barbra Met Alan. The film revolves around civil rights movement disabled people went through in the UK during the 1990s. The majority of the cast and crew are disabled themselves which makes me so happy as it’s very common for able-bodied actors to play disabled roles. Disability representation in the media is an area I want to help improve in my own field as an illustrator and animator, so this was an amazing project to work on!
